How is Tattwa Different

Our Facility

Our Facility has two private Colonic rooms, equipped with a modern
LIBBE Open-System, Class II medical device, registered with the FDA and designed to provide privacy, be relaxing and comfortable. Our therapists are I-ACT, NBCHT and LIBBE certified. We use only hospital grade disposables which are sanitary and fresh for every client. Additionally, we offer digestive education, consultation, to track, measure and assist with digestive health via support from enzymes, probiotics and nutritional guidance.

Benefits of An Open System

Unlike the “closed systems” where the therapist must assist in all aspects of the treatment, including insertion and manually draining the patient’s colon, Tattwa only uses updated modern, state-of-the-art “open system” technology.

The Open System is far more comfortable, hygienic and private. Tattwa uses the LIBBE open system, which has been registered as a Class II medical device by the FDA. It is an ergonomically designed fiberglass recliner-bed, with a drain attached. However, the real benefit of the open system is that it allows the client to have the utmost privacy and it is comfortable and sanitary with a built in odor exhaust system.

At Tattwa, once the therapist has explained how to gently insert the disposable rectal tube, they leave the room. At all times during the treatment, the client is covered by a disposable drape, maintaining the utmost privacy in a sanitary manner. During the session the colon is gently irrigated with gravity fed, temperature controlled, filtered water.

Each colon hydrotherapy session lasts approximately 45 minutes, during which Tattwa’s knowledgeable therapists will periodically return to demonstrate how the client may massage their abdomen to promote the release of the accumulated waste matter, ensure progress and discuss possible corrective adjustments.
